Hey guys,
The year has started in full swing and boy i’m grateful! God has been good to me. I have recieved favour in His sight and of men. Grateful to see a new year. Grateful to still be in love with the One who died for me. Bless God. I’m just gonna say a few things about 2013.
’13 was a whole new experience for me. I journeyed to a land unknown to serve Nigeria in march. I literally felt like Abraham. No kidding! This was when my own year started for me. I was unfamiliar with the people around me and I was so not comfortable living far from my family. Well, in all I survived and I bless God. I also had my fair share of ups and downs and a severe heartbreak but in the midst, God proved strong on my behalf. I discovered plenty about me too and yes, I started this blog in ’13
I purposely named this post ‘tabula rasa’ because 2014 is what YOU will make of it. It’s a ‘clean slate’. In fact, everyday is a ‘clean slate’. Write, with the ink of the Holy Spirit and your words what you want it to be meanwhile looking forward.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19. Kjv
Be the best you in this year. Believe God’s words spoken to and concerning you. Hold on to them and run with it. Our father, Abraham obtained promises from God by faith so dear, by faith grab your copy now! Partner with the Holy Ghost in prayer and obedience and let God work through you. “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.”
Do not forget to have fun. Try your hands on new things. Learn new languages if possible (like I’m gonna learn French). Live 2014 knowing that the one who holds all the earth in place holds you. He is able to keep you from falling. Rest in God. Enter into your rest by believing Him. He has your bestest interest at heart. Love aggressively! Be like your heavenly father who gives His love without conditions. No one dictates your actions except you. Freely dispense grace and favour just like Jesus.
Lastly, in all, I wish you all of God’s best and don’t stop seeking His face. It’s full of grace, favour and truth.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
